Arianna E. Lindemann (Fifer)
March 27, 1962 - November 3, 2017
Age 55 of Franconia, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2017.
Preceded in death by mother, Lorraine Croft.
Survived by husband, Dave; father, Vince; brother, Eric (Annie) Fifer; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Ron) Elcombe & Nancy (Chuck) Roberts; several nieces & nephews; and many beloved pets (past & present).
Ari was a woman of widely varied interests and talents. Professionally, she worked as a scientist, including a time at the University of Minnesota in the bio-technology field.
She met her future husband, Dave, in Tae Kwon Do training where they both achieved Black Belts. They were married June 20, 1987, and lived in Houston, TX and Seattle, WA, before returning to home territory in Minnesota.
Ari loved horses and animals of all kinds. She was the proud “parent” of a pure-bred Siamese cat, Queenie, Burmese Mocha and their daughter Peanut.
She relished seeing the world and traveled widely including excursions to Tibet and Nepal, Egypt and Africa, New Guinea and Australia, Madagascar, Brazil and the Amazon, Europe, and Japan. Scuba diving was a favorite activity on her trips to Mexico and
Australia, including the Great Barrier Reef. She was a member of MENSA, practiced Yoga and was an artist. She was, perhaps, most proud of the beautiful orchids she grew.
She will be greatly missed by her husband and family.
Memorial Visitation 1-3 PM Saturday, November 11 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd. B. Private interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minnesota Zoo Foundation.
