Constance “Connie” Jean (Klecker) Scheunemann was born March 15, 1953 to Walter and Dorothy Klecker.  She grew up in St Paul with her 2 sisters and 4 brothers.  As a child she attended St Columba, Wilson and then Murray High School.  It was in High School that she met Robert “Bob” Scheunemann.  On December 2, 1972, she married her high school sweetheart and together they raised a family, Angela, Mandy & Jeremy,  on the east side of St Paul, where they resided and spent the next 45 years together.

During her life, Connie worked many different jobs, but it was her dedication to the help others by working with special needs kids at PCCR and as a Special Education Assistant in the St Paul Public Schools Battle Creek Elementary and Johnson High School that she will be remembered most.

Connie was first diagnosed with breast cancer in May 1984, she fought and was clear from cancer until May 2011.  On December 10, 2017, surrounded by family, she lost that battle.

She will be remembered as a sweet, generous, loving person.  Always putting everyone else before herself.  And she will truly be missed by many.  She was a very strong woman and touch the lives of many people.
