Marlene was born April 4, 1942 in Peoria, IL. She met Ed in Peoria and they were married November 23, 1968. Shortly thereafter they moved to the Chicago area. In 1973 Ed and Marlene were transferred by 3M to Roseville, MN where they raised three children.

Marlene was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. The Kelly pool was frequently teeming with family and neighborhood friends because of the warm atmosphere she created. Marlene also ran her painting business where she created special home décor and apparel that made many memories in homes and hearts friends and frequent customers. Marlene enjoyed traveling with her family, giving her time to their local church, volunteering at her children’s school, going to movies with Ed and frequenting the local YMCA.  Most of all, she cherished spending time with the people she loved.

Due to COVID, we know many of Marlene’s family and friends could not see her in the last three months the way they would have preferred. Therefore, we are celebrating Marlene’s life with a visitation and funeral following social distancing protocols. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, June 26 at ST.
