Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather & Friend
Albert Henry “Al” Schwartz, age 94 of Roseville, passed away after a short illness on May 25th 2026.
Survived by children, Pat (Sandy), Darlene (Steve) Maday, Julie (Andy) Dachtera, Joe (Jan), and Bob (Amy); many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friends.
Al was preceded in death by his wife, Caroll, and daughter, Connie.
Al was the quintessential family man; he truly enjoyed raising his children and watching his grandchildren grow and prosper. Al had a long career in computer technology and holds patents on memory sections used on Navy submarines and surface ships. He was a proud veteran of the US Army where he served as an anti-aircraft gunner on the west coast during the Korean War.
Al’s lifelong passion was model airplanes. He was a founding member of the St. Paul RC Club and was active in the club for over 50 years. He spent many hours building, flying, and crashing countless planes over the years! Al also bowled on several leagues. He will be remembered in the neighborhood for his daily bike rides up and down the street, stopping to chat with whomever was out and about.
A visitation to celebrate Al's life will be held from 4 - 7 PM Wednesday, June 10 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B.
