Tony left to go on a forever fishing adventure March 28, 2024, at age 55, following a short interlude with cancer.
Preceded in death by brother,
Scott; sister, Natalie; grandparents, Willis and Albertina (Ducky) Flynn, Russell, Sr. and Maxine Semo; and aunt, Dianne.
Survived by his life partner, Pamela Walstad; mother, Delores Flynn; stepfather, David Larson; brother, Timothy and nephew Joshua; son, Jacob (Mallory); 3 grandchildren; father, Russell, Jr. (Gerri) Semo; many cousins and friends.
Tony was an avid hockey player from age 5 until he joined the Navy. While in the Navy, he served on the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier as a radar technician, was a double shellback and transited the Suez Canal twice. He was an avid outdoorsman and Harley Davidson rider, who loved fishing and bow hunting, pontoon/fishing boat rides down the St. Croix with the kids, and fishing on Grandpa and Grandma's secret lake up north. Tony was a carpenter, and overhead crane inspector for several companies until starting his own company. He was a jack of all trades, who could create, build and repair anything. He will be deeply missed.
Memorial service 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B. Visitation at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
