Arlene M. Behnke

Age 68 of Blaine, formerly of Williston, North Dakota, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 14, 2026.

Preceded in death by son, Griffin Cole; and parents, Sidney and Lila Larson.

Survived by husband, Gene; sons, Schuyler (Hien) and Wyatt; grandsons, Ashton and Everett; siblings, Jan (Dwayne) Weeda, Marge Weeda, Warren (Arleen) Larson, Joann Larson, Lorraine (Brent) Slotten, and Sharon (Don) Pich; and other family and friends.

Visitation from 4-7 PM on Friday, June 19 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Drive. Private interment.

On August 6, 1988, Arlene married Gene Behnke, and they shared nearly 38 years of marriage together. Throughout her career, Arlene worked as a hospital pharmacist, including 32 dedicated years at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cross-stitching, organizing and cataloging photographs, baking, and tending to her flower gardens. Above all else, Arlene cherished her grandsons and found her greatest joy in spending time with them.
