Brad passed away at his home in Lino Lakes on November 12, 2025 at the age of 69. He was the third generation to own and operate Barott Drilling Services.
Brad relished the good times he had with friends and family. He possessed a quick wit delivered with a twinkle in his eye. He had a gift for storytelling, probably because he had so many stories to tell. Brad loved being outdoors, especially if it involved a boat or a deer stand. He'd be up for anything at least once; if nothing else it would be another story to tell.
Brad enjoyed a glass of whiskey or wine and a good cigar. He truly was one of those 'bigger than life' kind of guys (although his brothers would say 'large and in charge' kind of guy); he was also highly proficient and creative with curse words. We will all miss his humor, stories, and the way he naturally lit up a room.
Brad is survived by his mother, Darlene; two children, RaeLynn & Joe (Brooke); three siblings, Brian (Cindy), Bruce (Sandy), Barb (Dan) Jagunich; and special friend, BK, along with many nieces and nephews.
Brad is preceded in death by his father, Gary (sorry Dad/Grandpa, we kept him out of your hair as long as we could ... back in your boat now ... tight lines!).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 25th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Hugo American Legion Post #620, 5383 140th St. N. Come raise a glass, tell a joke or share one of the many Brad stories we know are out there!
The family would like to thank Vickie, Sue, AccentCare and Synergy Home Care for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the ALS Association or Team Gleason; both organizations provided support to Brad and his family.
