Bridget O'Keefe Dunn

July 18, 1965 — October 25, 2021

Bridget O’Keefe Dunn passed away suddenly on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was 56 years young.  Bridget was born on July 18,1965 in Spring Valley, Minnesota to Norbert and Angela Marie (nee O’Neill) O’Keefe. She was the youngest of eight children.  Bridget is survived by her husband Chris and their sons George, Finn and John; and her siblings, John (Darla), Mary (Jim), Tim, Peggy (Evan), Mike, Matt (Lisa) and Dan (Asako).  She will also be greatly missed by a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who loved her dearly. Bridget is preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Angela O’Keefe. Bridget graduated from the University of St.Thomas in 1989. She had a servant’s heart and devoted time and energy to serving children in Guatemala through the God’s Child Project. Her sense of adventure took her to Japan where she taught English and studied Japanese for two years. She married her best friend and soulmate, Chris, in 1993. Bridget worked with the Aveda Corporation as an International Marketing manager for several years while raising her three children. Her work at Aveda fueled her interest in health and wellness and in 2018, she became the owner and operator of Body Sense Pilates and Wellness Studio. She thrived on helping her clients live their best lives through healthy living and exercise. She was passionate about art and frequently sought painting as an outlet for her creativity. Bridget loved animals and throughout the years, their home was a menagerie of adopted and rescued pets. Most importantly, Bridget was a kind-hearted, generous and loving soul. Family was her life and she often brought family together for celebrations. She was the best wife and mother that her husband and children could ever have. She cared for them tenderly, protected them fiercely and loved them unconditionally.  A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Bridget’s life will take place at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 30, at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes.  Visitation from 4-7 PM Friday at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr. (County Hwy 23) and at the church from 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bridget’s name to the God’s Child Project are appreciated.
