Christann Marie Capistrant

Christann “Chris” Marie Capistrant, lovingly known to those closest to her as Mom, passed away surrounded by love.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen (Clarence); and her brother, Tim.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Steve; her daughter, Amanda (Nick); and her siblings, Colleen, Judy, Kathy (Duffy), Carol (Andres), and Mike. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews who brought her great joy.

Chris had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures. She adored her Cairn terriers and found happiness in quiet moments with them. She enjoyed trips to the casino, scenic road trips through the mountains, peaceful days fishing, and everything green — her favorite color. Whether traveling open roads or spending time with family, she embraced each moment with her own special spirit.

Above all else, she loved her family. Her warmth, laughter, and unique personality will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held from 3-7 PM Wednesday, February 11 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 N. Dale Street at County Road B. Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday, February 12 with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
