Dale Alan Vannurden

Dale Vannurden, age 68, of Lexington, MN passed away on September 23, 2026, following a summer battling multiple medical issues.

Dale graduated from Centennial High School in 1976, followed by three years in the Army and one year in the National Guard. Dale’s business was tile setting and home remodeling. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He loved western shows and playing computer games while being the main caregiver for his mom.

Dale is preceded in death by his father, Harland Vannurden; son, Devin Vannurden; and sister, Tammy Vannurden. He is survived by his mother, Adella Vannurden; siblings, Kevin (Jeryl) Vannurden, Deb (John) VanOtten, and Sandy (Gordy) Manns; grandsons, Drake, Dakoda, and Dawson, and their mother, Angela Sowden; his granddaughter, Kaliyah and her mother, Nicolette Schoutz; and six nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and -nephews. He will be forever in our hearts!

Friends and family are invited to Dale’s Celebration of Life on Tuesday, October 6, 4:00-7:00 PM, with memory sharing at 6:00 PM, at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home; 7050 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
