Dallas was an industrious woman who never stopped moving. She began her working career at Montgomery Wards, and later ran Eden Valley Butter out of her home. She also worked at Carlson Travel and then at JC Penney, finally retiring well into her 70s. Her work ethic was legendary, as even her leisure time was spent productively - cleaning, weeding, sewing, and cooking. She simply would not rest if there was something that needed to be done. Dallas' level-headed determination and simple lifestyle focused on her family set an admirable example for her children and grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial for both Dallas and Kathy will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 10:30 AM at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N Dale St, St. Paul. Combined visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Wednesday, November 5 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N Dale St at Co Rd B, Roseville, and from 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday at the church. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
