Daniel J. Rauscher

Daniel Rauscher of St. Paul, MN, had many titles: Dad to his children, Papa to his Grand- and Great-Grandchildren, Brother and beloved Uncle Danny to his family and many co-workers at Joe's Sporting Goods. A lover of camping, hunting, and most recently fishing, he was always on the go and had a project (or 20) in the works.  Dan retired as a Street Department heavy equipment operator from Shoreview, and was a Vietnam vet, though you'd rarely hear him talking about it. He never hesitated to tell you if he thought something should be done better and would usually just end up doing it himself just so he knew the job got done. Everyone who knew him will agree on one thing, he was a "character " in the best way possible. ​He is preceded in death by too many to name and has left behind even more who will miss and love him for more years to come.​Memorial visitation 3-7 PM Thursday, September 2 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Road B.​Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.​
