David Juutilainen

Age 65, of Lino Lakes. Passed away March 16, 2021 surrounded by his family.  David was a veteran and an active member of the American Legion, Post 566. He was proof that once a Marine, always a Marine. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at the cabin. He will be remembered for his Sisu.  He is preceded in death by his father, Harold; and brother, Jimmy.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 39 years, Katherine (Wald) Juutilainen; his mother, Irene Juutilainen; sisters, Susan & Jane Juutilainen; children, Jolene (Lafe) Swalin, Justine (Andrew) Bach, Jessica (James) VanWagner, Jay Juutilainen, and Jack (Dustin) Juutilainen; and grandchildren, Hailey, Gage, Janey, Lyti, and Olivia.  A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 3 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-LINO LAKES, 7050 Lake Dr. (Cty Hwy 23). Visitation from 10-11 AM Saturday. A celebration will be held after the service at the Legion in Lino Lakes.  In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the University of Minnesota Health Heart Care.
