David A. Hendrickson

Age 67, of Maple Grove​

Died February 22, 2023 of complications from Multiple Myeloma.  

Preceded in death by father, Clifford. 

Survived by wife, Terri; children, Matthew, Shawn, Michael, and Sarah (Josh) Puhalla; grandchildren, Logan & Kira; mother, Carolyn; and sister, Patti (Rick) Michurski, as well as many relatives, friends, and the law enforcement community.

​David was a retired police officer of the city of Maple Grove and Metro Transit police. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Twins, Vikings, and Wild. In his “retired” years, he even worked part time at the US Bank Stadium & Target Field doing security.

Dave loved spending time with his family, grandkids, and always had a special place in his heart for his dogs. ​

A special thank you to the staff at North Memorial Health Cancer Center. Dave was always optimistic about his diagnosis and he fought his battle with cancer for nearly 14 years.

He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.  Memorial service 11 AM Monday, March 6 at LORD OF LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Monday.
