Delores Marion Decker

The last of a generation… A loving parent, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.  

Delores Marion Swanson was born November 18, 1922 to William and Margaret Swanson in St. Paul. She lived in Frogtown and attended Mechanic Arts High School. She worked at Montgomery Ward and Waldorf Paper Company during her career in accounting.

Delores was kind and concerned; she put others first and was a humble example for all of us.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her stepchildren, Larry and Chris; sisters, Carrie, Violet, Lorraine; and brother, Bud; and their spouses.  

She is survived by children, Wayne (Debbie), Dale (Debra), and Barbara; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.  

She is loved and will be missed by us all.

Proverbs 12:28 "In the Path of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death". May God bless her life, legacy and memory. We will miss you mom. God bless you.

Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, September 21 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Road B. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation 10-11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
