Dennis peacefully passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 75 with his children at his bedside.
Dennis John Patsy was born on January 13, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Emil and Delores Patsy. He left behind a legacy of hard work and love for his family, and a kindness that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Dennis lived a full and meaningful life marked by sports as a young man, and by dedication to his family later in life. He was known for his generous heart, sense of humor, and his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Those closest to him will remember his warmth, wisdom, and above all, his wonderful sense of humor. He was married to Nancy Patsy, and together they raised three children.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Angela Patsy (Adam), Tony Patsy (Amy), and Katie Patsy (Joe). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to his six grandchildren, Emilyn (9), Hannah (7), Brinley (5), Maddison (7), Gavin (5), and Olivia (4). Being “Grandpa” brought him immense joy, and he treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas (86), and his sister, Janice (81) as well as additional loving nieces and nephews.
Dennis made a meaningful impact on the lives of many and took great pride in the life he built and the memories he shared with friends and family.
Dennis’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will continue to honor his life and legacy.
A visitation to celebrate Dennis's life will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday, March 5 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B.
