Donna Rae Marie Reinert

Donna worked as a school librarian at Centennial Jr High School for 22 years, a job she loved, before she retired.

Donna grew up in Gresham, WI with her sisters, Charlene and Mary Ellen, and her brothers, John "Jack" and Kenny. Donna attended the College of St Catherine's in Minnesota, but left after one year and was hired by Burlington Railroad in Illinois.

In 1955, Donna left her job to marry Vernon and start a family. After living in Wausau, WI for many years, the family moved to Lino Lakes, Minnesota in 1975. Donna worked as a school librarian at Centennial Jr High School for 22 years, a job she loved, before she retired.

After retirement, Donna and her husband Vernon purchased a second home in Arizona where they spent winters for 17 years. They also purchased a cabin on the Rainy River in northern Minnesota.

Donna loved life and brightened every room she walked into, but what she loved most in life was her family and spending time with her five children, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Survived by husband, Vernon; and children, Cheryl Lamers (Arnie), Steve Reinert (Geri), Jeff Reinert (Lisa), John Reinert, and Lisa Delgado (David).

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday July 30, 2026 at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Thursday.
