Donna Marie Van Gundy

Donna Marie Van Gundy, age 64, passed away November 23, 2025, at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was born in St Paul on July 27, 1961.

Donna had a love of crafting, especially crocheting, needlework, and a wide variety of DIY crafts. She took great pride in her talents and was always eager to share her creations with others. She also kept a garden, and over the years she showed love to her family by taking the time to serve a home cooked meal every night. She enjoyed traveling with family and was an avid reader. She was a member of Living Waters Lutheran Church and found joy in her church family and in serving by teaching Sunday school when her boys were young, and helping at bake sales, craft fairs, and the annual Church garage sale. She was always thinking of others and had the ability to fill a room with her joyful presence. She could start a conversation with anyone whether she knew them or not.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Kent; her son, Robert and daughter-in-law Laura; her son, Timothy and daughter-in-law McKendra; her mother, Shirley Gray; her siblings. In addition, she is remembered by her many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Larry Gray, and sister.

A memorial service celebrating Donna’s life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3rd, at Living Waters Lutheran Church, 865 Birch Street, Lino Lakes, MN 55014 with a visitation starting at 1:00 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Donna to join us in honoring her memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Donna’s memory to Living Waters Lutheran Church in honor of her devoted commitment to her church.
