Doris A. Schmidt

Doris was born in Crookston, MN. Passed away surrounded by family at her side on September 27, 2025.

Preceded in death by husband Jerry; daughter Kelly Jo Imsande; father Lester Kelly; and brother Roger Kelly.

Survived by sons, Scott (Dana) Rehbein and Brian (Dawn) Rehbein; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; mother Millie Kelly; sisters, Bev Filas and Joyce (Charlie) Herbst; brother Les Kelly; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Doris was a strong, classy, beautiful person, inside and out. She was a dedicated hardworking employee, a good friend to many, she will be remembered for her deep love for her family.

A HUGE thank you to Dr. Shanks and staff at St. John's Hospital, Oncology Dept., for the Exceptional and Compassionate care Doris received for over 8 years.

A SPECIAL thank you to granddaughter Lea for her loving dedication to Doris, also for comforting the family with her knowledge as Doris transitioned into her final journey.

We now know, "You are fine.”

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday, October 9 at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Thursday. Interment St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery.
