Dorothy Lou Evers (Nelson)

Age 86, of St. Paul, MN, formerly of Valley City, ND, passed away on June 12, 2026.

Preceded in death by husband, Norman; daughter, JoAnne; and brother, Myron Nelson.

Survived by children, Carmen (Steve) Olson, Cheryl (Bret) Grundmeier, Dwight (Kathy) Evers; grandchildren, Garrett, Forrest, Holly (Luke), Lori, Sophia, Rachel & Noah.

Dorothy was a teacher with St. Paul Schools for nearly 20 years. She was loved so much and will be deeply missed.

Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, July 10 at Como Park Lutheran Church, 1376 Hoyt Ave. W., St. Paul. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Friday.

Private interment Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred the American Cancer Society (MN Chapter) or donor’s choice.
