Eileen O. Wallin

Age 81, of Roseville, passed away on January 14, 2026.

Eileen was born on September 21, 1944, in Grey Eagle, MN to Adolph & Frances (Denne) Muellner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ralph Muellner, Margaret Bruggenthies, Melvin Muellner, & Timothy Muellner.

Survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard; children, Allison (Brent) Slipka & Richard (Megan) Wallin, Jr.; grandchildren, Brooke & Joseph Slipka, Violet & Drew Wallin; siblings, Georgianna (Donald) Haller, Jeanette (Thomas) Blaeser, Harold (Joan) Muellner, Elizabeth (Thomas) Iberg, Bernadette (Bruce) West, & Thomas (Paula) Muellner.

Eileen was a graduate of the College of St. Benedict, where she majored in Elementary Education. She worked as an elementary teacher at numerous Catholic schools in West Central Minnesota, St. Bridget in Minneapolis, St. Rose in Roseville and retired from Maternity of Mary-St. Andrew School in St. Paul where she taught First and Fifth Grade. She was a teacher devoted to her students and was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed having fun with her family, singing, needlepoint, reading, and solving puzzles. 

Visitation 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday, January 22 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.

Inurnment 10:00 am Friday, January 23 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 29441 MN-28, Grey Eagle, MN .
