Eleanor M. Nagel (Notto)

Eleanor M. Nagel, age 88 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2023.​Preceded in death by husband, Donald; son, Dennis; and brothers, Leonard and Ralph. Survived by daughter, Jo Ann (Howard) French; grandson, Daniel; also many nieces and nephews. Ellie was an amazing woman: intelligent, generous, and compassionate. She worked many years at Sperry/Unisys as a fabulous secretary/administrator. She was always helping others with meals or rides or just visiting with them. Around 2001, Ellie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and she spent her last eight years at Lyngblomsten Care Center in St. Paul. Grateful thanks to the staff at Lyngblomsten, who cared for her (and for her family) through the difficult progression of her disease. Funeral service 11:00 AM Monday, January 30 at Lyngblomsten Care Center Chapel, 1415 Almond Avenue, St. Paul MN 55108. Visitation at Lyngblomsten Chapel from 10-11 AM Monday. Memorials preferred to Lyngblomsten Care Center or Galilee Lutheran Church.
