Age 99, died peacefully on October 9, 2026, at Johanna Shores in Arden Hills. She was born in Timber Lake, SD on August 21, 1927. She was one of 12 children born to Andrew & Frances (Bollinger) Aberle. She went to Mount Marty High School and College in Yankton, SD, graduating in 1943 with a B.A. in Education. She taught primary grades in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota.

She married Edmund John Buzicky on August 1, 1970, in Maplewood, MN. Vi and Ed spent summers in St. Cloud, MN and traveled to Orange Beach, AL for the winter for over 20 years. Over the years they traveled through all 50 states, Europe, Canada, and the Bahamas. Vi especially loved gardening and sharing her prized vegetables with her friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edmund, on January 16, 2016. She was also preceded by her parents and brothers, Dennis, Eugene, Vincent & Al.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Saladino, Linda Yoo (Don Haig), Greg Buzicky (Linda Staats), and Kevin Buzicky (Beth Meyers); eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Marian, Mona, Rita, Annette, & Janice; and brothers, Andrew "Bud" & Lawrence.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 14 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2090 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville. Visitation 4:00 - 6:00 pm Tuesday at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 N. Dale St., Roseville and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.
