In loving memory of Eric Caldwell, (38 years of age), who passed away unexpectedly following an acute medical event.
Eric was soft-spoken and big-hearted and greeted everyone with a warm smile and a hug. He always looked for ways to help wherever needed, and constantly put others before himself. Eric's final act of caring was the gift of sight and more by being a donor to help restore health to strangers in need.
Eric loved fishing, hunting, working with his dog, and he loved his family. He taught the neighborhood kids how to fish in the backyard pond. He always paid special attention to the kids, and they all adored him.
Eric is survived by his fiancee, Rosa M. Pliego and her children, Mia and Oscar; his devoted parents, Jan and Mike; brother, Mitch and sister-in-law, Niki; nephew, Maverik ; niece, Mayli (who began her life on earth on the day Eric began his eternal life); grandmother, Diane Wier; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. We are all so blessed by having had Eric in our lives.
Eric's spirit, characterized by his caring and thoughtfulness, will never be forgotten and will continue to inspire and influence all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered and cherished forever.
