Gary Donaldson

Loving husband, dad, grandpa, and brother passed away peacefully at home in Circle Pines, MN surrounded by family on December 27, 2025.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary (Newton) Donaldson, and nephew, Tim Donaldson.

Gary is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeanine; daughter, Brooke (Donaldson) Armstrong & son-in-law Brad Armstrong; son, Cory; grandchild, Emma Armstrong; brothers, Mike and Jim; and sister, Kathy Munn.

In addition, Gary is remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.

Gary cherished spending time with his family and granddaughter, Emma. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin, fishing, and hockey games.

A Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes, MN. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Moments Hospice, Golden Valley, MN, or St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lino Lakes, MN.
