George A. Bruzek

George A. "Bud" Bruzek of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. 

Bud served in the United States Navy from February 14, 1952, to his honorable discharge on February 3, 1956. 

Bud worked as a boiler operator and also for the railroad maintaining and fixing rail cars. He later worked as a tow truck driver. He had a love for fixing up cars, Fords, and enjoyed being with family.

He is missed by his surviving wife, Marilyn; son Tony; his five step-children and their families; his sister Pat and her family; brother Gerald; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy; sons, George and Richard; brothers, John, Arnold, and Melvin. 

Bud was a dedicated and generous husband, father, brother, and grandfather and was well loved.

Interment with full military honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave. S., Minneapolis, at 12:30 pm on Monday, August 18 (Assembly Area #2). Please, do not enter the cemetery through the main gate. Please enter through Gate #2 and proceed directly to Assembly Area #2 by 12:15 pm.
