Age 93, of Lino Lakes, passed away on September 21, 2025.
Preceded in death by husband, Eugene; grandsons, Casey Spears & Johnathon Pohlen; parents, Art & Rosalia (Leisz) Wagner; brothers, Robert (Pat) Wagner, Kenneth Wagner, Richard Wagner; and son-in-law, Chuck Spears.
Survived by children, Judy (Don) Cordie, Sandy Spears, Mike (Cathleen) Broker, Jim Broker (Lauri Hipp); grandchildren, Kerrie (Lyle) Pohlen, Donnie (Jennifer) Cordie, Kelly Spears, Shane Spears, Nichole (Joe) Drennon, Alicia (Matt) Cooksey, Amanda Broker, Michael Broker, Emily Valento; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Merlyn (Nancy) Wagner.
Gladys was born in Turtle Lake, WI and graduated from Turtle Lake High School (Class of 1951). She was married on June 17, 1951, to Eugene Broker at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Turtle Lake. They moved to Lino Lakes in the early 1950's. She worked at Montgomery Ward for 30 years before she started working at VFW Post #6583 in Lino Lakes until its closure. She served as an active member, past president and past state president. After its closure, she joined Sgt. John Rice VFW #6316 in Blaine and was an active member with the Cooties.
Visitation 10:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 7 at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
Interment St. Joe's Church Cemetery.
