Harvey A. Boomer III

Harvey Boomer passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026. He was born in Little Falls, MN on August 20, 1944, grew up in the Lake Johanna neighborhood, and graduated from Mounds View High School where he played hockey. After attending St. Cloud State University, he worked most of his career at Twin City Hardware. 

Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Marcella (Masog). 

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Boomer, brothers Calvin (Lonna) and George Jr. (Lori); his sons Ryan (Sara) Gordon, Joshua Boomer, Grady (Heather) Boomer, Anthony "Tony" Boomer; his 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

Harvey enjoyed the outdoors, with fishing, hunting and golfing being some of his favorite activities. He would take his family on annual canoe trips to the Boundary Waters where even when a bear chose to destroy the camp, it couldn’t stop the tradition. With friends and family, he enjoyed the fall duck hunting trips that featured a mandatory trip to the gas station for snacks and breakfast at Perkins before harvesting ducks and shenanigans. Weekly you could find him on the golf course with friends enjoying a round of golf. As he settled down later in life, he kept his mind sharp with games and puzzles. Even through his final days, his first priority was to complete the crossword puzzle in the daily paper. A gift to this world, Harvey was smart, fun and generous. He was well loved and will be dearly missed.

Visitation 10:00 - 11:00 am Saturday, May 9 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
