Survived by children, Peggy Carter, JoAnn Romano, James Jr. (Sandie Albarella), and Michael (Susan); 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 42 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, James Sr.; daughter, Judy Symons; grandson, Bill Carter; and sons-in-law, Roger Carter and Dan Romano.
Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, January 13 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St., Roseville, MN 55113. Visitation from 10-11 AM Tuesday. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor's choice.
