The family wishes to specially thank Ione’s dear friend and neighbor, Becky, for her loving and attentive care of mom in her golden years.
After graduating from Washington High School (Class of 1952), Ione worked at West Publishing where she met Don, her husband of 48 years. Ione enjoyed being a homemaker and sharing her cooking, baking, and sewing talents with others. She spent many years serving as a volunteer at church. Don and Ione loved time spent at their cabin on Balsam Lake. In Ione’s later years, you could find her in her sun porch watching the PGA, the Twins and the Hallmark Channel while doing Sudoku puzzles.
