Janet D. Straumann

Janet D. Straumann, age 87 of Roseville, was born August 17, 1938 and passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026. 

Preceded in death by husband, Francis A.; son, Owen; and sister, Carole Latin. 

Survived by daughter's, Deborah Grotjahn, and Alison (Michael) McQuade; grandchildren, Cassandra, Danielle, Katarina, Asher, Whitney, Kaitlynn, Breanna, Chloe, Abigail; great grandchildren, Teddy, CC, Aiden, Carson, Logan, Malakai, Aniyah.

 Janet traveled with her family all over the country as a young adult before meeting her husband Francis through a computer dating service. Janet enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in her garden and feeding the birds. She had a passion for wildlife and nature. She enjoyed her trips to Duluth and walking along the shores of Lake Superior. She enjoyed telling stories to her grandchildren and sharing her love for the outdoors. Her faith in the Lord was important to her. She is now at peace with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Graveside service 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 28 at North Isanti Baptist Cemetery, 2248 313th Ave NE., Cambridge, MN. Visitation 4-7 PM Monday April 27 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St.
