Jared M. Gosdin

March 28, 1982 — January 8, 2022

Jared Michael Gosdin was born March 28, 1982 in Fort Payne, Alabama to Charles “Charlie” and Karen Gosdin. When Jared was one year old, he moved with his parents to Coral Springs, Florida; the family eventually moved to Delray Beach, Florida where Jared started second grade. In 2000, Jared graduated from Atlantic High School in Delray Beach. On February 22, 2012 he married the love of his life and best friend, Karen Anne Sandberg in Boynton Beach, Florida, where they lived until moving to Falcon Heights, Minnesota in 2013.     As a young man Jared got involved in the sport of bowling. He continued bowling as a hobby through high school and into adulthood. He was a gifted and respected bowler even earning the nickname "BAM" Gosdin by his friends in the bowling community. When Jared's bowling ball hit the pins they "exploded"...it was a sight to see! He truly enjoyed the sport as well as the time spent with his teammates.Jared enjoyed much in life, including watching his favorite sports teams play. He was so happy to cheer on his Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, and Miami Hurricanes. Anyone who knew Jared, knew his wardrobe mainly consisted of apparel with those team logos…he wore them with absolute pride.      Another joy of his was his pets. He would often speak of Patches, KC, Sneakers, Huey, Suzy, Luna and countless others. They brought him much happiness and his love for them certainly showed the kindness of his heart.     Spending time with family and friends brought Jared the most joy of all. He always wanted the people around him to be happy and having a great time. He had a heart of gold. He was a loving husband, son and friend to many. He was always there to help anyone who needed it and everyone who knew him now surely feels a great loss.       Jared was preceded in death by his father Charles "Charlie" Gosdin, grandfather Clovis Gosdin, grandmother Betty Gosdin, grandfather Thomas Aubre, grandmother Joan Nye, step-grandfather W. Martin "Bud" Dion, uncle Larry Gosdin, aunt Sheryl Johnson, and father-in-law Leon Sandberg.  He is survived by his wife Karen Anne Gosdin, mother Karen Gosdin, mother-in-law Viola Sandberg and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws and dear friends. Jared passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2022 at the age of 39 with his wife by his side.
