JoAnn was born in St. Paul, the second oldest of 8 children. She followed in her mother's footsteps and loved to bake. You would always find her in the kitchen trying a new recipe from one of her many Taste of Home cookbooks which she would often give as a Christmas present. Her famous dipped Bugels and Rolo pretzels were a hit at family gatherings. Her freezer was always filled with coffee cans with cookies of some sort. She never went to a party without a can or two for others to enjoy. Her other joy in life was camping. She and Jack would spend several weeks during the summer in their pop-up campera and enjoyed when the grandkids would tag along. JoAnn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who always put others first. Her door was always open for loved ones to gather around the dinner table and share good conversation. She will be dearly missed. Rest easy "Mrs. Baker".
