Joanne Marie Borocki

Joanne died peacefully in her sleep and was reunited with the love of her life, Armand "Nick" Borocki, on February 5th. She is survived by her beloved sister, Judy Brinkman; nieces, Julie Perry (Bill) and Jean Reynolds (Chuck); nephew, Mark Brinkman (Megan); and seven great-nieces and nephews. Joanne will be best remembered for simple things such as her quick wit, keen spelling and grammar skills, needle work, love of toast with pepper jam, candy and snacks, sitting on her back porch watching birds and Court TV, and her "Never give up" attitude in the face of multiple health concerns. Her family was fortunate to celebrate many major milestones and holidays with her in the past year. She loved them dearly and did not want to let go. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. A private family service was held earlier this week. Interment will follow at a later date for both Armand and Joanne. Memorials may be sent to St. Stephanus Lutheran Church or Our Lady of Peace Hospice, both in St. Paul.
