Joan Schaut-Kasa

Joan Schaut-Kasa, age 75, of Roseville, MN passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, surrounded by her family. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Alphonse and Erma (Beuning) Wilhelm; husband, Bill Schaut; and son, Bob. 

Joan is survived by her husband, Jerry Kasa; children, Sheila (Steve) St. George, and Leo (Amy Egan) Schaut; stepchildren, Craig (Julie) Kasa, Kris (Mark) Kath and Jim (Jenny) Kasa; siblings, Joyce (Paul) Ossmann, Jim (Denise) Wilhelm, Karen (Tom) Tolbers, and Margie (Ken) Zimitsch; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Joan grew up in St. Paul and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1965. She loved arts and crafts and the people she met through these activities. She enjoyed camping and especially loved going to Pine Grove Lodge every August. 

A memorial visitation for Joan will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday, September 11 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. 

Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
