Age 87, of St. Paul, passed away on May 3, 2026.

Preceded in death by her son, Steven Harrington; parents, Joseph & Mary Ellen (Augustine) Kilroy; and sisters, Jane Bement, Mary Ellen Wheeler & Dona Dunn.

Survived by husband of 63 years, Kent "Lefty"; children, Michael (Shelley) Harrington, Kelly (Brian) Johnson, Nancy Harrington (Brian Sugrue); 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Kathleen Marac.

Joetta grew up in St. Paul on the West End. She graduated from St. Stanislaus Elementary School in 1952, attended St. Frances de Sales High School from 1953-1954 and graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1956. After graduation, she worked for 3M from 1956-1967. During that time she wed Kent "Lefty" Harrington in 1963. Following her time at 3M, she worked for Minnesota Mutual Life/Securian from 1980-2002. She was also an active member of the Holy Childhood Women's Club, loved to check out an estate sale/garage sale, gardening, collecting clocks, cooking/ baking & traveling south for the winter, after retirement.

Visitation 4:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, May 11 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St.

Visitation 9:00 - 10:00 am Tuesday, May 12 at the Church of the Assumption, 51 W. 7th St., St. Paul followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.

Private interment at Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace.
