John's favorite things included drumming, fishing and playing with his grandchildren. He liked to read and be read to, and enjoyed friends and family when they visited.
John worked many different jobs through the years, everything from metal fabricator to parts runner.
John gave unconditional love to everyone he knew, and gave a lot to family and friends. Never one to back away from danger or to lend a helping hand.
