John A. Remme

John Remme, 45, passed away on June 16, 2026, while doing what he loved. Though his life ended far too soon, he spent it pursuing the people, passions, and moments that brought him joy and made him who he was.

John was a devoted father to Waylan, Walker, and Milli, whom he loved with all his heart. His greatest joy in life was being their dad. John was endlessly proud of the people they are becoming.

John was the kindest man many of us will ever know. He never wanted to hurt anyone and always looked for the good in people. He was a loyal friend, a caring son, a protective brother, and someone who would show up whenever he was needed. Those who knew John knew they could count on him. His love was steady, his heart was generous, and his presence made people feel safe.

John is survived by his father, Ron Remme; his brother, Erik Remme, and UJ; his sisters, Amber (Dan) Determan, Jeni Quinn, and Angie Tomasko; his beloved children, Waylan, Walker, and Milli Remme; Angie Hause, the mother of his children; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were made better by knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pam Remme; his precious daughter, Emma Remme; and his beloved grandparents.

While his passing leaves an unimaginable void, we find comfort in knowing that John has been reunited with his mom, Emma, and his grandparents. The love he shared, the kindness he showed, and the protection he gave so freely to those he cared about will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Memorial service 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 9185 Lexington Ave., Circle Pines.  Visitation from 4-7 PM Wednesday, June 24 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Drive and from 10-11 AM Thursday at the church.
