John E. Porten

Age 88, of Roseville, passed away on August 6, 2022. 

Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Lucille; and sister, Dorothy.​

Survived by his beloved wife, Emele; children, Greg (Joan), Mike (Kath), Ken (Sandy), Linda (Pat) Lynch, Cindy (Dave) Pearce, and Sheri (Eric) Engstrom; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who were honored to know and love him.  

Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. 

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 17 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2090 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Tuesday at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B, and at the church from 9-10 AM Wednesday.​
