John Frank Buckrey

Passed away peacefully at home.

​Preceded in death by his parents, John and Sadie (Ligman) Buckrey; brothers, Edward and Ray; sisters, Lee and Alice.

​Survived by wife of 66 years, Marge; sons, Mark (Joan) and Donny (Carol); daughter, Suzie (Tom); grandchildren, Ben (Amy), Molly, Sam, and Tom.​

John was an East Sider. Attended school at St. Casmir and Johnson High School. He worked at West Publishing for 43 years, after a two-year stint in the Army. He could fix just about anything, and loved to play fast pitch softball and play with his grandkids.​

John and Marge walked every day and were lifelong members of St. Casmir Catholic Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 8 at SAK'S SPORTS BAR, 1460 Co. Rd. E., Vadnais Heights from 2- 4 :30 PM.​A Mass will be held in John’s honor 9:00 AM on February 19, 2023 at St. Casmir’s Catholic Church.
