John H. Floeder

Age 86, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by the love of family on July 26, 2022.  Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Patricia; parents, Albert and Helen Floeder; brothers, Robert and Richard; and sister, Marion.  He is survived by sisters, Margaret Cybyske and Dorothy Hawkins; his seven children; Tony (Marsha) Floeder, Joan (Darryl) Bergstrom, Steve (Chany) Floeder, Kathy (Pete) Koenig, Dan (Chris) Floeder, Donna (Jon) Shogren, and Fr. John Floeder. He cherished his 27 grandchildren, Leah, Katie, Max; Alex, Eric, Amanda; Vinnie, Fr. Louie, Bernie, Lucy, Frankie, Joey, Charlie, Annie, Jerry, Rosie; Nick, Jenna; Zac, Zandra, Oscar, Justin; Sr. Maddie, Tom, Sarah, Mary, Andrea; seven great grandchildren. John will be remembered by all who loved him. He was always there to listen and offer advice, or just pass the time watching the birds outside his window. Throughout his time at his retirement home, Johanna Shores, John devoted himself to the spiritual care of others, sharing the gospel and rosary with those who were unable to access it in their daily life. He always appreciated a good meal, whether homemade or out with friends and family. John was glad to be included in his family's lives and will be greatly missed.   Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2022 at the CHURCH OF ST. CHARLES BORROMEO, 2739 NE Stinson Blvd, St. Anthony, MN. Visitation at the church from 10 – 11 AM Friday.
