John J. Barry

John Joseph Barry, “Johnny”, age 69, of Lino Lakes passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while at work on March 3, 2023. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Steve (Kerri) Barry and Dave (Nicki) Barry; grandchildren, Jason (Callie), Nathan, Adam, Wyatt, Makenna and Rylee; great-grandchildren, Grace and Ian; siblings, Michael Barry, Patti (Barry) Alverman, Kathy Warrick, Colleen Pacheco (Steve Novak), Peggy Barry, Lee Johnson (Scott Hedberg) and Lesa Phernetton; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, John Barry & Patricia Kallstrom; sister & brother-in-law, June & Fred Liljenberg; and granddaughter, Amanda.

John proudly served in the Marine Corps for 4 years. He owned and operated an auto body shop. He enjoyed being a small plane pilot, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was just an all-around great guy.
