Jori Lynn Jones

Jori took on life with a smile on her face and determination in her heart. Her smile was as beautiful as a summer sunset. Her hugs were like a warm blanket on a fall day. Being in the same room or part of a conversation with Jori, you knew you mattered to her no matter how long you knew her. Her passion for being a good human is something we can all learn from. Our time with Jori was far too short, but our hearts are filled with a lifetime of memories. We know each beautiful flower & every breathtaking sunset is her showing us her beauty.

Jori is survived by her mom Britt; dad Jon; sister Kylie; brother Beckam; boyfriend Mason; dog Freddy; grandma Linda “Nina”, grandpa Jan “Papa”; grandma Connie “Nana”, great-grandma Jean; loving aunts & uncles; all of her wonderful cousins; Gustavus Women’s Hockey Team; Roseville Hockey & NSSA Soccer Communities; many coaches & teachers that supported her; and countless friends, coworkers, neighbors & campers that she had fun with.

Jori was met with open arms in heaven by her auntie Amy; and Papa Joe.

A celebration of life will be held from 4-8 PM on Thursday, September 14 at the Guidant John Rose Oval – Banquet Hall, 2661 Civic Center Dr., Roseville, MN 55113.  Please wear something fun: your jersey, funny T-shirt, favorite hoodie, cowboy hat, tennis shoes or sandals in honor of Jori’s outgoing personality and love for life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Jones family or through the GoFundMe site, which will be sent to various memorials on your behalf to places that were near and dear to Jori’s heart, otherwise Jori would love the plant a tree option below.
