Joseph E. Ross

Age 61 of Shoreview, passed away on July 7, 2022.​Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Virginia; brother-in-law, Tom Pockrandt; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Barbara DuFresne; and sister-in-law, Debbie Rice. Survived by loving wife, Maggie; children, Emma (22) and Little Joe (14); sister, Susan Pockrandt of Coon Rapids, MN; brother, David Ross of Shoreview, MN; brothers-in-law, Don (Jeanie) DuFresne, John (Linda) DuFresne, and Tom (Patti) DuFresne; sister-in-law, Anne DuFresne; favorite Uncle Joe to many nieces and nephews; and many other friends and relatives. Joe was a wonderful husband and a very proud dad. He was an incredible son, brother, friend, and colleague. He had a heart of gold, an infectious smile and laugh, and was a friend to everyone he met. "Joe was the guy you’d want to sit with and have a beer". Per Joe’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be Thursday, July 28 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Manitou Ridge, 3200 N. McKnight Rd., White Bear Lake. ​A further Celebration of Life 11:00 AM Friday, August 26  at Day Macz Funeral Home, 311 North Pine, Sandoval, IL.  Visitation from 10-11 AM  Friday.  Interment Andereck-McClelland Cemetery, Sandoval, IL.​His family would like to thank the care team at Minneapolis Heart Institute, United Hospital, and Abbott Northwestern Hospital for the tremendous care they provided.​In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Minneapolis Heart Institute in memory of Joe.​Joe's CaringBridge site
