Age 83, passed away on February 6, 2024.

Preceded in death by husband, Bill, of 62 years; parents, Paul and Elsie Schrul; brother, Romie; sister-in-law, Lorraine; and granddaughter, Jenny.

Joyce was wonderfully devoted to her three children, Gary (Jolene), Kim (Gary) Bjornberg, and Dann (Karmen). She was a loving Grandma to Sara (B.J.), Tim (Kristen), Kelly (Aaron) and Jenny. Also, a kindhearted Great Grandma to Jack, Afton, Joey, Caleb, Athena, Owen, Opal and Alistair.

Joyce was a devoted wife, Mom and Grandma who spent her life caring for her family. She loved shopping. No purses or bedspreads on the shelf were safe. She loved cooking. Her specialties were cheesy cauliflower, homemade pancakes, pot roast and tacos. She was an avid birdwatcher and cardinals were her favorite. Joyce lived her life being a kind and caring soul. Always the consummate host, Joyce provided her special touches on menu planning and holiday decorations both inside and out. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

Memorial service 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 21 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr. (County Hwy 23). Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 10 - 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials preferred to donor's favorite charity.
