Kathryn A. Benjamin

Age 76 of Forest Lake, formerly of Lino Lakes and New Hope, passed away on October 26, 2025. 

Preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Bernice Huttner; sister, Mary Schlagel; and Lemmy the dog. 

Survived by husband, Dr. Neal Benjamin; sons, Patrick (Jacquie) Benjamin, Colin Benjamin; sisters, Lyn (Mitch) Manoski, Pat (John) Connolly; brother Jim Huttner. 

Kathy graduated from Cooper High School in 1967 and the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1973. She worked in water analysis for the State of Minnesota and as a bookkeeper for Circle Pines Dental. Kathy was actively involved at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, Boy Scouts and the Lino Lakes Lions. 

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 18 at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St. Lino Lakes. Visitation 10-11 AM. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. 

The family would like to thank Wealshire of Medina for the care and compassion they showed to Kathy in her final days. 

In lieu of flowers a simple act of kindness to a neighbor would be appreciated.
