Ken was employed as a truck driver for 35 years. Briggs Transportation, Kraft, and Gas N Go were companies that he worked for. Ken was a long-time member of the St Joseph's of the Lake community, since 1961. He was an avid member of the church choir and participated in multiple musicals. Ken was a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a lifetime member of the Lino Lakes VFW and Foley American Legion.

Ken is greeted into his eternal resting home by his wife Janet; parents, Stephen and Helen; sister, Beverly; and brothers, Raymond, LeRoy, and Steven "Butch".
