Laurentia Smieja

Age 88, of St. Paul, passed away March 23, 2022. Preceded in death by son, Michael "Chuck"; brothers, Ronald and Earl Czech; and sister, Judith Buhl. Survived by husband of 70 years, Michael R.; sons, Paul, Dan, Ken (Ginger) and Gerard (Teri); daughter, Edane; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Mary Jean) Czech; and sister, Winnie (Adam) Kramer. Also survived by dog, Bailey; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 PM Saturday, April 2 at THE CHURCH OF ST. AGNES, 548 Lafond Ave., St. Paul. Visitation at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME - ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B, from 10:00 AM - 12 Noon Saturday, with procession leaving for church at 12:30 PM. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
