Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Imsande; his brother, Duane Imsande; son, David Imsande; granddaughter, Angela Tompkins; daughter-in-law, Kelly Imsande; and in-laws, Dorothy and Alvin Lindberg.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bernice Imsande; his children, Louella (Tom) Johnson, Leanne Mickley, Lauri (Bob) Cogger, and Doug (Michelle) Imsande; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Leroy was loved by all and had a good heart. He was a wonderful father and guided us through life to be hard workers. He loved to make jokes and make everyone laugh. He truly enjoyed seeing his grandkids, great-grandkids and attended all of their activities.
Funeral service 12:00 PM Monday, September 30 at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 9931 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday, September 29 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Drive (County Hwy. 23) and from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Monday at the church.
Interment Incarnation Cemetery.
