Loretta "Lois" Hannigan (Harrington)

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Great-Grandma

Age ​97 of Maplewood, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2022.​

Lois is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Jack; parents, Robert and Loretta; brothers, Everett, Howard, and Gene; sisters, Jane and Mary.​

Lois is survived by children, Ann (Jon) Stevenson, Pat (Kathy), Greg, Bob (Janet), Peggy Strand, Tom, Joe (Tammie); 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; dear sisters, Patricia (Doug) Soderquist and Colleen (Howard) Higgins; many nieces, nephews, cherished friends and neighbors.

​Lois was born and raised in New Richmond, Wisconsin until 1949, when she met and married Jack. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of the Church of St. Jerome. Lois was a gifted baker and cook who will be missed by all. 

Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM Friday, May 27 at THE CHURCH OF ST. JEROME, 380 E. Roselawn Avenue, Maplewood. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday, May 26 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME - ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B and from 9-9:30 AM Friday at the church.​

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Church of St. Jerome.
